Marie Louise - Evolve Yourself

Marie Louise, who calls herself "The Inner Revolutionary," is an author, human development educator, speaker, facilitator and spiritual guide based in Sydney, Australia. For more than 15 years she has worked across human development, embodiment, consciousness, nervous-system education, meditation, breath, movement, energetics and spiritual inquiry.

Her work starts from the idea that we are not machines made of separate parts but a "living orchestra": body, mind, emotion, nervous system, energy, spirit and awareness. She sometimes calls this the "human sleeve," the instrument through which consciousness meets lived experience. Her invitation is to know that instrument, become conscious of what has been governing it, and make room for more of our innate nature to be expressed. She describes self-governance as the capacity to recognise what is moving within you, which is different from self-control. She says she is not here to fix anyone.

She is the author of Discover Worlds Within and the creator of Evolve Yourself® and Essence Energetics®. Evolve Yourself® is the wider body of work, which includes education, retreats, speaking and an organisational framework. Essence Energetics® is a deeper one-to-one journey that brings together embodiment, nervous-system awareness, energetics, consciousness and spiritual guidance.

She leads process workshops that use somatic, breath-based and consciousness-based practices. She also hosts retreats, including a cycling and yoga retreat through South India that she co-hosts. She works with corporate teams on nervous system regulation and on leading from a regulated body, and she facilitates ceremonies for weddings and life transitions. Her Insight Timer meditations are described as invitations to soften conditioning and open to presence.

Her own account of her life includes twenty years prospecting black opal in the semi-desert of Australia and raising a son she counts among her greatest teachers.
